Disney Junior Appisodes App Reviews

Up until my most recent purchase I would have rated this app with a 4 star (only negative being the cost of each game). However, I bought one as a potty training reward for my son and it did not download completely yet charged me the $4.99. I followed all the links and directions in the app and on the Disney Jr. Website to try to report the problem and just kept getting rerouted to the start of the process. I left a message on the Disney Jr FB page with pics and got no response. Im thankful that the iTunes support has been helpful in refunding the purchase price but now Im leery about purchasing any others. I thought Disney Jr would be a lot more on top of customer service :(

My three year old and I used to love this app. We have all but the two newest appisodes, or we used to until now! They wont restore and for some reason they disappeared from her game! When I try to restore them it gives me an error message! We spent a lot of money on these and Im super disappointed they cant be restored! My daughter asks almost everyday why she cant play them. I will change our rating when we can restore our appisodes!!

The individual episodes are really expensive. Which is expected of anything Disney. The kicker is if you reinstall the app, say after a reset or device switch, it wont let you reinstall the expensive episodes. Fun, right? I get an SK...error. I had over 3 gigs free, no updates needed, even turned restrictions off and rebooted several times. I guess I was making unwitting donations to the Disney Fund for Expensive Crapware with each new episode I purchased. Uninstalled eventually, and will look elsewhere for barely functional apps.

I have given Disney way more money than I should have with their outlandish pricing and horrible marketing methods. I have purchased every Appisode for my daughter because she loves them so much. The app was updated on my phone. I should have known from past experience not to update, but I ignored my instinct. Now, when I try to restore my purchases it either freezes or nothing happens, which seems to be a recurring problem with updates. This is very frustrating! I, regrettably, spent over $100 to have a worthless, useless product that cannot be used. This needs fixed! From a company as large as Disney you would think they would be able to afford some tech support. Think again!! They dont have a section on their website for this app and they dont answer emails anyway. Disney, test your updates across multiple devices before you release them! Check and triple check your coding and stop rolling out updates as quick as possible just to push a new in-app purchase. It messes up everything that was previously functioning! Focus more on your users and the apps functionality than profit. I think that can be afforded. Disney only makes billions of dollars a year, which is increased when customers are HAPPY. UPDATE: The new update still did not fix the restore issue!

This app has the potential to be really awesome. My sons love interacting with Disney episodes, the game comes with one appisode and then all the others must be downloaded. However they dont download. Your card will get charged but the appisode will never find its way onto your device. I had to contact apple support to get a refund because I was tired of dealing with it. My sons were very disappointed but I just could not get it to work. If they can fix this issue and add some more Disney shows like Miles, Henry or Octonots then this will be a 5 star app. UPDATE - after a lot of hassle I was able to get the appeased to download only to loose it when the app updated. now they are sitting in “the cloud” and will not come out. Very disappointed with this app considering the episodes are $4.99 (which is NOT a new lower price!!!)

This app would be fine if you didnt have to buy every appisode because all the prices for them are very highly and you are only going to play them one or twice before you get bored.

If you get errors after buying appisodes ("cant connect to the cloud") try emptying some storage space on your device. It takes 600mb - 1.5gb free to download a single appisode. I was getting this message because I only had 400mb storage free. Once I deleted some stuff, it downloaded easily. The app wont tell you if you dont have enough room though. The message is totally unhelpful. If they corrected the error messages, I bet this app would get much better reviews. The appisodes, though expensive for amount of playtime, are a lot of fun. My son especially gets a kick out of talking to the app. If youre willing to pay $5 per half hour of gameplay and have tons of storage space to download them, the appisodes are delightful. A nice mix of interactivity and passive video. Fix the error messages and it would be five stars.

I cant update this app and after multiple problems adding and purchasing new episodes, Im beyond frustrated with this app. Save yourself the heartache of buying each episode for $5 and find a different app. I expect better from Disney. Extremely disappointed. Dont buy this.

Used to live this app but it needed an update and wont upload. Tried to delete and reinstall and now cant even download it. Are all my purchases gone???

I use to love this app. Recently I have been unable to purchase appisodes or restore my previous purchases. I have about seven that Im unable to download from the cloud. Until Disney gets this fixed I will stay away from their apps :(

I just purchased the new Mickey appisode-Around The Clubhouse World. Every time we get to the part where you push the button on the car it either exits completely out of the app or gets stuck and doesnt do anything. Im not to thrilled seeing that I paid $4.99 for this and the fact that this particular episode is my daughters favorite!

I purchased 3 games and every time they try and download it says there is an error so I tried deleting the app and downloading it again and download the games from iCloud but it does nothing I still get a message saying an error has occurred I am not happy that I spent $15 on games that cant even be played

I bought this (or got this, if it was free) specifically so that we could use on the road. Suddenly, its only accessible through the App Store. You cant access the App Store offline! What gives? Wheres the "tile"?!

Every time I try to download the episode I bought it says error or that he cant connect to iTunes. Figured it would work since Disney made the app. Should have listened to the reviews.

No options to contacts them to fix technical problems!

Apple sends updates and make the applications not work. Where the heck are all my purchases from this app???
